That $400 air quality sensor in my basement was a bad buy
I do a lot of forum research before buying gear, and everyone swore by this one brand. Paid $400 for a unit that was supposed to track humidity and VOCs. Turns out the VOC readings just sit at zero unless you literally spray paint next to it. Humidity part works fine, but I could have bought a $15 hygrometer and gotten the same info. The money went toward a graph that never moves. Has anyone else dropped cash on a tool that just repeats what a cheap version already does?
