Tried hot yoga for the first time in Austin and did not expect to last the whole 90 minutes
I went to a studio on South Lamar last Saturday thinking I'd tap out after 20 minutes. Made it through the entire class and only sat down twice. I've never been flexible or good at sweating, so this felt huge. The instructor said my breathing was steady the whole time, which I guess helped. Any tips on what to eat before a class so I don't feel like I'm gonna puke?

Bananas and toast about an hour before worked for me.

I mean, is it really that deep? I just eat whatever’s around and hope for the best. Unless you’re training for some kind of competition, a banana and toast feels like overthinking it. Like, are we running marathons here or just hitting the gym for an hour? I’ve seen people chug a Monster and crush a workout, so maybe it’s more about mindset than a specific snack. Just seems like a lot of planning for something that probably doesn't matter that much.
