I was a snob about phone astrophotography until last night

Honestly, I spent $300 on a used tracking mount and always laughed at phone pics. Then my DSLR battery died at a dark site near Flagstaff, so I propped my iPhone on a fence and used a 10 second exposure. The Andromeda shot was grainy but way better than I expected, has anyone else ditched a big setup for a phone in a pinch?
