A customer brought in a car with a full set of plastic flamingos glued to the hood

This happened at our shop in Tucson about two months ago. The owner said his kids did it as a 'prank' with super glue, and he drove it over like that. We spent three hours with heat guns and plastic scrapers trying not to scratch the paint. Has anyone else had to fix something that was just plain weird?

That sounds like a creative art project to me. I would have left them on and charged him for the upgrade.

That "creative art project" line from Jake reminds me of this time my buddy Marty tried to charge a guy for making his fence posts "look rustic" after he accidentally set them on fire with a weed torch. He spent a whole afternoon convincing the homeowner it was a premium weathered finish technique. The homeowner actually paid double and asked for the business card.
