A customer pointed out my clear coat runs on a 2018 Civic repair

Finished a fender job last month. Customer came to pick it up. He said 'the color match is perfect, but you can see three little runs in the sun'. I looked. He was right. I was rushing the last coat. Now I always wait the full 30 minutes between coats, no shortcuts. Even on small jobs. How do you guys avoid rushing the finish when you're behind schedule?
