Cold shaping metal is making a comeback. I don't get the hype.

More shops are skipping the frame machine for small dents. The process is too slow.

Bro, my buddy had a DENT in his truck's quarter panel, just a single good one. His regular guy wanted to put it on the frame rack and bill for hours. He took it to this old timer who does cold shaping instead. That guy worked it out slow, never heated it, never messed with the factory finish. The repair was CHEAPER and you cannot tell it was ever there. For stuff like that, pulling the whole frame is just overkill and hurts the value.

Saw a buddy's truck dent shaped cold, like magic.

Cold shaping saved my buddy's truck too, @hannah197.

Sure, it works, but is it revolutionary? Most dents don't need that much fuss.
