Hit 200 cars repaired this month and had to double check the count

I've been doing body work for 18 years and somehow managed to finish 200 cars this past month between the shop and side jobs. Turns out I'd been working 6 days a week and not paying attention to the calendar. Anyone else lose track of how much work you're pushing through until you see the numbers add up?

My left shoulder has been screaming at me for the last three weeks and I just kept telling myself it was a bad pillow. Turns out it's probably just 200 cars worth of leaning over fenders and wrestling with dent pullers. I counted my coffee cups this morning and stopped at 14 because I lost track of which ones were from yesterday. At this point my chiropractor probably has me on speed dial.

I get what you're saying about the satisfaction of seeing big numbers, but respectfully, 200 cars in a month sounds like a recipe for burnout to me. Quality tends to slip when you're pushing that hard, and customers notice.
