I just threw out $150 on a 'universal' dent puller kit
The cheap suction cups popped off on the first real hail damage repair, leaving me with a bigger mess. Anyone have a go-to dent puller brand that actually holds?

Ugh that's the worst! I used to grab whatever cheap kit was on sale, had the same thing happen with a door ding. Now I only trust the heavy duty suction cups from the pro brands, even though they cost more. The cheap ones just don't have the same grip and you end up wasting time and money. I learned the hard way that a good tool is worth saving up for.

Wait is a door ding from a suction cup even a real thing? Sounds like maybe the cup was put on wrong or the paint was already weak. I've used cheap ones before and they just pop off, not leave a mark.
