Wait @avery32, that might not have been full hazmat. The real Level A suits are like a totally sealed spacesuit with its own air tank. What you saw was probably just the tyvek coveralls and a face shield, which is way more common. The big tip is the respirator. If they didn't have a big mask with cartridges, it's not the highest level. A lot of people mix that up, but the difference is huge for the workers inside.

Remember that EV batteries hold crazy energy, so even a small leak needs full containment. That's why shops are stepping up their gear big time.
