Switched my mind on waterborne paint after a nightmare job

I was dead set against waterborne paint for years. Stuck with solvent based stuff thinking it was the only way to get a good finish. Then I had to do a pearl white on a 2023 Audi and the solvent kept ghosting no matter what I did. A buddy at a shop in Cleveland convinced me to try the waterborne line from his supplier. Got a perfect match on the first try and the drying time was way faster. I still prefer solvent for some things but I was wrong about waterborne being garbage. Anyone else had a job that forced them to switch methods?

What type of gun did you use for that waterborne Audi job?

Waterborne" is a type of paint not a gun model... you want the Sata 5000 for that.
