Watched a guy at the AutoZone in Toledo skip a scuff pad for 220 wet and the blend came out cleaner than mine
I told him he was nuts. 15 minutes later his blend on a silver Civic door looked like glass next to the tiger stripe mess I usually leave. He said he's been doing collision work since 2002 and stopped finishing with scuff pads on hard clears. I tried it on the next two jobs and I'm not going back. What grit are you all finishing your blends with?
