A guy named Sal at the shop in Fresno said my test light was lying to me
I was chasing a no start on a 2004 Silverado and my test light lit up at the injector plug so I called it good. Sal walked over, said "that light only pulls 20 milliamps, load the circuit," and handed me his Power Probe. Turned out I had 11.8 volts with no load and 4 volts once anything real was on it, bad ground on the block. Been loading every circuit I test for the past 6 months. How do you all handle circuits that won't take a load without popping a fuse?
