Had a coolant hose blow on a 2015 Civic during a test drive in 90 degree heat
I was checking a used car I just finished servicing, and the upper radiator hose split right at the clamp. It dumped coolant all over the engine bay before I could pull over. What's your go-to brand for replacement hoses on these, or do you just stick with OEM for something like this?

Been there. I just use OEM hoses for the radiator on those. Aftermarket ones never seem to fit quite right and it's not worth the hassle.

Has anyone else had trouble with aftermarket hoses not seating right at the clamp? I've had good luck with Dayco on a couple older Hondas but yeah OEM is probably the safe call here.
Sorry that happened on a test drive though, that's rough. At least you caught it before it got worse.
