I finally hit 100 oil changes without a single comeback

Been turning wrenches for 15 years and just realized I've done over a hundred oil changes in a row at this shop without anyone coming back with a leak or a stripped plug. That little milestone hit me harder than I expected, you know? (I still double-check every crush washer like a paranoid maniac.) Anyone else keep a quiet count of little wins like that?

Walmart forgot my drain plug once, so I get the paranoia. 100 is a solid run though, that takes real consistency. Keep checking those washers.

Walmart really dropped the ball on that one, didn't they? Makes you wonder how many people just drove off and never checked. You ask the shop to do a simple job and they mess up the basics. So what do you do now to make sure it's tight every time? Do you just rely on your own eyeballs or do you have a specific routine you follow after they work on the car? Seems like trusting anyone else with the simple stuff is a gamble you can't afford to lose.
