Pulling a trans vs dropping the subframe on a 2012 Civic clutch job, which way do you go
Did a clutch on a 2012 Civic last week at my shop outside Dayton and pulled the trans out the top with a hoist, took me about 5 hours start to finish. My buddy swears by dropping the whole subframe instead and says it saves him an hour, but I can't see how wrestling that cradle back in beats just sliding the trans out. Curious what you all do on these, and if anyone has actually timed both ways back to back.

Watched a guy spend 45 minutes fighting a subframe bolt that was rust welded solid.
