That $300 valve spring compressor I bought once... use it zero times
I bought a dual-overhead cam valve spring compressor from a Snap-on truck back in March at the shop near Daytona. Paid $310 for it, used it one time on a Ford 5.4 and honestly the old C-clamp trick worked better. Last week I finally put it in the bottom drawer with the other one-use tools... anyone else got specialty stuff they regret grabbing because YouTube made it look necessary?
