Visited a pick-n-pull yard in Tacoma and it hit different this time

I mean, I grew up pulling parts from these places in the 90s, but last weekend I walked through one in Tacoma and barely recognized it. Everything's crushed and baled within days now, no more towers of old blocks sitting for months. You still dig for that one good alternator, but has anyone else noticed the yards are way cleaner and way emptier than they used to be, or is it just me?
