Warning: a 2006 Corolla with a no-start took me 3 days and it was a $12 part
Customer's 2006 Corolla rolled in on a Tuesday with a crank-no-start, and I went straight to the fuel pump because that's what the scan tool codes pointed at. Three days later, after pulling the back seat, swapping the pump, and chasing grounds with my meter, it turned out to be a $12 crank position sensor with a hairline crack that only failed when the engine bay got hot. Half the guys I know say always trust the codes first, the other half say start with the cheap stuff, so which side are you on?
