My uncle moved cars for 22 years and says he'd rather haul a rusted out farm truck than a new Tesla
My uncle has been running cars between auctions and dealers for over two decades, mostly out of Ohio down to Florida and back. I asked him last weekend if he hates hauling the expensive stuff, thinking it must stress him out to have a $90k car on the trailer. He laughed and said the opposite, the fancy electric ones scare him way more because they sit so low and he's scraped two bumpers just getting them up the ramp. A beat up old pickup with a foot of ground clearance? He doesn't even think about it. He said the last EV he moved had to go on the top deck because of the battery weight rules and he sweated the whole 700 miles. Anyone else here moved a lot of EVs and noticed the loading is trickier than people expect?
