Found a pinout diagram that saved me 3 hours on a 737 harness
Was tracing a sensor fault last Tuesday and dug through the maintenance manual, then spotted a pinout drawing I'd never noticed in the appendix that matched my exact issue. Rebuilt the connection in 20 minutes, never would have guessed it was buried there. Anyone else found gold hiding in the back pages of a manual they normally skip?

Hang onto that habit, because those appendix sections are where the real secrets live. The main manual tells you the theory, but the back pages show you the actual wiring paths that never match the block diagrams. I found a similar gem once in a landing gear troubleshooting chart, it had a note about a common solder joint failure that explained why we kept seeing intermittent faults. Honestly, half my time on harness work is spent flipping to the end of the manual before I even touch a multimeter. Someone should write a book called "Stuff They Buried on Purpose" just for these diagrams.
