Blew $75 on a squirrel proof feeder and the squirrels threw a party on it
Bought one of those weight activated feeders back in April because I was tired of refilling my tube feeder 3 times a day. The first squirrel that climbed on it just hung there for a second, then figured out he could lean way out and grab seed out of the port without tripping the spring. Within a week I watched 4 of them take turns on it like it was a diner counter. I returned it and put the $75 toward a baffle pole setup instead, which has actually worked for almost 2 months now. Save your money, the fancy feeder is not the fix, the pole is. What actually keeps squirrels off your setup?
