Hot take: last Tuesday was the worst bird day I've had all year

I sat outside for 3 hours with my coffee and saw exactly one house sparrow that pecked at the feeder for like 30 seconds then left. Has anyone else had a day where your yard just goes totally dead for no reason?

Yeah that dead yard thing happens to me sometimes, try swapping your feeder位置 or changing the seed mix.

Are you sure the dead yard thing is something to worry about that much? Feeder location and seed mix can help a little, but birds are picky and might just move on anyway. @the_shane I think people get too worked up over a quiet feeder now and then.
