Just read that house finches have been shifting northward for 50 years now

Honestly, I was looking up why I haven't seen as many house finches at my feeder in central Ohio lately and stumbled on some data from the Cornell Lab. It said their winter range has moved almost 100 miles north since the 1970s. That really surprised me because I remember as a kid in the 90s, we had a flock of like 30 of them every morning at my grandma's place in Columbus. Now I maybe see 5 or 6 a week here in Delaware, Ohio. I guess it's getting warmer or something and they just don't need to come down this far anymore. Has anyone else noticed a drop in a specific bird species where you are over the last 10 or 20 years?

Read an Audubon article that said house finches are moving north because winters are milder now.
