My feeder camera counted 50 different birds in one morning

I set up a little camera by my feeder in Atlanta to see who was visiting. Yesterday it logged fifty different birds before noon, which blew my mind. I was expecting maybe twenty, but it caught three kinds of woodpecker and a whole flock of goldfinches I never see from the window. Has anyone else had a count surprise them like that?

Wow, my friend's camera caught a hawk at her feeder, which was totally unexpected.

That's amazing, fifty is a huge number. I had the same kind of shock when I first put a camera out, you just don't realize how much you're missing from the window. It makes you wonder how many other birds are passing through that you never even know about.
