Saw a hawk nail a pigeon at my feeder in Tucson and now I can't decide if I should keep it up
Last Saturday around 7am I watched a Cooper's hawk take out a mourning dove about 6 feet from my sunflower feeder here in Tucson. Half of me says the feeder is just a dove buffet for raptors and I should pull it down, but the other half says hawks gotta eat too and that's just nature doing its thing. Curious where you all land on this, do you keep feeding or do you move your setup when a hawk starts hunting your yard?
