Drove home from a rotten Tuesday at work on the scenic route instead of the highway, and now I can't decide if I wasted 40 minutes
Last Tuesday I left the office in a foul mood after a meeting went sideways, and on a whim I skipped the highway and took the back roads past the reservoir home to Salem. It added about 40 minutes but I walked in the door calm enough to actually eat dinner with my husband instead of snapping at him, and now I'm stuck wondering if that was a smart fix or just me avoiding the problem. Is taking the long way home a real way to reset, or am I just putting off dealing with a bad day?
