Just changed my mind about that bakery on 5th street

I went to Sweet Bloom Bakery downtown last Tuesday after swearing them off for like a year. I used to think they were overpriced and their stuff was dry. But my regular coffee shop closed early and I was in a bad mood, so I figured I'd give it another shot. The guy behind the counter offered me a free sample of their morning bun, still warm. It was really good - flaky with a nice cinnamon kick. I bought a loaf of their sourdough for $6 and it lasted me four days without getting hard. Made me wonder if I was too quick to write them off last time. Anyone else give a place a second chance and get surprised?
