Rant: my car broke down in the rain outside a tiny town in Nebraska

I was stuck for hours until a local guy named Dave towed me to his garage and fixed it for basically nothing. He just said 'bad days happen, but people can help.' Anyone else have a random stranger turn a terrible day around?

Bad days happen, but people can help" is so true. I had a flat tire once and some college kid just stopped and changed it for me in like five minutes.

People like Dave are the best. It's a good reminder that most folks are decent.
