Thought my day was shot after the DMV in Reno took 2 hours, then a guy at the taco truck fixed it
I got to the DMV in Reno at 8am and didn't walk out until 10:15, so I was already done with the day and didn't even want lunch. A guy at the taco truck saw me dragging and said to just walk the river path for 15 minutes before I got back in the car, so I did, and by the time I got my food I actually felt like a person again. What's your go-to 15 minute reset when the day is already wrecked by 10am?
Walking the same path every day gets boring fast and that's exactly why most people quit after a week. Simple sounds nice but boring kills habits, and 15 minutes on flat ground stops challenging your body after like two weeks. @anna_carter53 means well but the real trick is mixing it up and making it hard enough that you actually feel it. Give me stairs, hills, or a faster pace over the same flat loop any day. Ten minutes of something that makes you sweat beats 15 of coasting along the water.
