TIL my streak hit 88 good days in a row and I almost missed it

I keep a little tally on my fridge of days that end okay, and I glanced at it Sunday night and the count was 88. The number 88 is what my grandpa wore on his bowling shirt at the lanes in Erie, so it stopped me cold. Two years ago I could not string together three calm days without some small disaster, so seeing that many in a row felt strange. What number would make you stop and stare at your own tally?
