A customer told me my sourdough tasted like a poolside bar in July

Over at Clancy's on a slow Tuesday, this older guy orders a loaf and takes one bite before saying it tasted like the chlorine and limes from my well drinks. He wasn't wrong, the starter had been sitting too long near the dish station and picked up some funk. I killed that batch and moved it to the back fridge by the kegs, and now it's cleaner than ever. Anyone else got a weird flavor complaint that actually fixed their process?

Chlorine AND limes from your WELL drinks? That's oddly specific and honestly kind of impressive the guy nailed it like that. Good on you for actually moving the starter though, most people would've just blamed the customer.
