Dropped $85 on a pastry marble slab and it's just a heavy cutting board

I let the internet talk me into buying a marble slab for my pie dough, and after 4 months I can say it did nothing my $12 wooden board couldn't do. The marble sits in my cabinet taking up space because it's too heavy to pull out for a quick batch of biscuits. Anyone else buy one of these and just use it as a cheese board now?
