Just tried to make a sourdough starter with pineapple juice like a blog said

It basically turned into a fizzy, pink science project on my counter in about 18 hours. Anyone have a more reliable method that doesn't smell like a fruit bomb went off?

Wait, my buddy tried to make a pineapple smoothie and left it in his car for a few hours? It EXPLODED all over his dashboard, like a sticky science project gone wrong.

My cousin did that with a mango lassi last summer. It sat in her hot backseat for maybe two hours. The lid blew off and coated her whole center console in this thick, sweet yogurt mess. She said it smelled like rotten fruit for weeks.
