Stopped by that old bakery in Pasadena I used to love
They still have the same marble countertops, but now everything is sourdough and seeded loaves. It made me think about how the whole 'artisan' thing really changed what people expect from a simple bakery. Anyone else feel like the classic white sandwich loaf is getting hard to find?

Can't believe they ditched the white sandwich loaf.

Honestly, that sourdough and seeded stuff is a huge upgrade. The old white loaf was just boring fluff.
