Just learned my oven runs 25 degrees hot from a $7 thermometer

I grabbed a cheap oven thermometer at a store in Portland on a whim, and found out my fancy oven has been lying to me for 3 years. Has anyone else had a temperature surprise wreck their recipes?

Trust that cheap thermometer over your oven every time. Did you salvage anything with the corrected temp?
