Sourdough starter exploded in my trunk during an Arizona summer
Left a jar in the car for 3 hours while I ran errands in Phoenix, and it blew the lid clean off, coating my spare tire in sticky goo. Now I keep a dedicated cooler and a thermometer in the trunk, but has anyone else had a jar survive high heat and just taste weird afterward?

Tbh mine survived and just tasted flat and sour, like the heat killed all the good stuff.
