The $4 bench scraper ended my sticky dough misery
I used to fight with wet dough for 20 minutes every Saturday until my neighbor in Columbus loaned me her bench scraper. One pass under the dough and it released clean, no more flour clouds everywhere. Anyone else convert to bench scrapers after years of hand kneading?

Wet dough just needs more flour and patience, a scraper only hides bad technique.
