TIL I hit batch #500 this morning and it was just a normal Tuesday
I always thought hitting a round number like 500 would feel like some big milestone but when I pulled those cookies out of the oven at 6 AM it just felt like another bake, has anyone else had a number that totally failed to match the hype?

Your 6 AM thing actually clicks with something I've been noticing more lately. I have this theory that milestones only feel real when you actually stop to look back at them, not when you're in the middle of doing the work. Like I finally hit 1,000 sales on my little Etsy shop last month and I didn't even realize it until three days later when I was checking my stats. The numbers just kinda pile up while you're focused on the next batch or the next order.

Wait did you feel kinda cheated when you realized you'd passed 1,000 without even noticing? I had the same thing happen with my little print shop side hustle. Hit 500 orders last fall and only caught it because I was looking for a customer's old address in my order history. For me what helped was setting up a simple milestone tracker on my phone - just a note where I jot down the number whenever I think of it. That way I actually get to feel the win for a second before diving back into the grind.
