Found a $2 vending machine that still works, best dollar store score yet
Ngl, last Saturday I ducked into a Value World on the south side of Cleveland to grab a cheap lamp for my desk. While I was digging through the electronics bin, this beat up vending machine, one of those tiny gumball ones, was sitting there with a broken glass front and a hand scrawled 'AS IS' tag for 2 bucks. I bought it on a whim thinking it would just be a shelf piece, but when I got it home and gave it a good wiggle, it started humming. I put a quarter in and actually got a stale peanut M&M out of it, which honestly made my whole week. The best part is the coin slot still takes nickels, so my nephew thinks I'm a magician every time we feed it a dime. Has anyone else grabbed broken junk that turned out to be secretly functional, or am I the only one who gets this lucky?
