Goodwill prices doubled overnight in my town
I hit the same Goodwill in Fresno every other Saturday for like 4 years. Last month a basic table lamp with a cracked shade was tagged at $9.99, same one I saw for $4.99 back in March. The clerk just shrugged and said their district manager raised all base prices after the inventory system update. Has anyone else noticed their local thrift stores creeping up past yard sale value? Makes me wonder if the hunt is even worth it anymore.
