Hot take: the Dollar Tree kitchen aisle beats most thrift store finds
Went into the Dollar Tree on 5th in my town two days ago just for trash bags and walked out with a $1.25 silicone spatula that has already replaced my $12 one from a kitchen store. Everyone in this group always hypes thrift stores, but thrift stores near me want $6 for a scratched-up pan with someone else's burnt eggs still on it, and the handles are always loose. The new dollar store stuff is just better for a lot of basic tools, and you can get a clean one that nobody used to stir paint. Am I the only one who thinks thrift prices have gotten out of hand, or does your area still have deals?
