Pro tip: always check the craft section at dollar stores for random supplies
Last week I stopped by a Dollar Tree near my house in Phoenix looking for cheap storage bins. I wandered into the craft aisle and found a pack of 50 mini clothespins for a buck. Now I'm using them to hold my chip bags shut and organize my charging cables. Anyone else find something unexpectedly useful from the craft section of a dollar store?

I found those mini clothespins too, they're great. I grabbed a bag of glass pebbles from the same aisle and glued magnets on the back. Now they hold my shopping lists and kids' art on the fridge. The whole craft section is a goldmine for stuff you didn't know you needed. I also got a pack of small wooden shapes that I painted and use as plant markers. It's wild how much useful random stuff they cram in that aisle for cheap.

Well, you're just a step ahead of me! Wait, glass pebbles with magnets on the back, that's actually genius. I never thought of doing that, but now I'm kicking myself for not grabbing a bag when I saw them. And the wooden shapes as plant markers, that's clever too. I usually just use popsicle sticks that end up faded and crumbling after a couple of seasons. You've inspired me to make a proper trip to that aisle this weekend.
