Pro tip: Dollar store cutting boards work better for my baking than the expensive ones

I bought a pack of 3 thin plastic cutting boards at Dollar Tree for $1.25 last week and used them to roll out pie dough. My fancy wood board always made the dough stick but these cheap things are nonstick like magic. Has anyone else found random kitchen stuff at bargain stores that works BETTER than the regular gear?

Dollar tree cutting boards are not really that serious for rolling pie dough.

Did you ever check if those dollar tree boards leach chemicals into the dough though?
