Spent $0.99 on lip balm at a Dollar Tree in Fresno and it beat the $18 one I used for a year
I grabbed a grape lip balm at the Dollar Tree on Blackstone in Fresno for 99 cents because my lips were cracking and I had no other plan. The expensive one I used before cost $18 at a makeup counter, and it always left my lips feeling waxy after an hour. This cheap one is softer and it actually sinks in instead of sitting on top like a candle. I used it 14 times in 3 days, not counting sleep, because I kept reaching for it. The $18 one had a fancy name and a metal tube that got scratched up in my pocket. The 99 cent one is just plastic and it has a little grape smell that reminds me of a sticker from grade school. The price difference is 18 times, but the cheap one wins for me because it does the one job I bought it for. Has anyone else found a dollar store balm that beat the fancy stuff, or did I just get lucky with this one tube?
