Spent $7 on a thrift store bread maker that made one loaf and died
I found a Breadman machine at Goodwill in Dayton last month for $7 and thought I scored big. Brought it home, ran a basic white loaf, and the paddle snapped clean off about 40 minutes in, leaving a weird dough lump welded to the pan. Spent another $12 on flour and yeast before I figured out the motor was toast, so I was out $19 for zero edible bread. Now I see bread makers at every thrift store and just walk past them. Has anyone actually gotten a used one that lasted more than two loaves?
