That one cashier at Goodwill who asked 'you actually gonna use this?' really stuck with me

Picked up a broken bread machine for $4 and she gave me this look before ringing it up, then said 'I see a lot of people buy these and they just end up back here in a month.' She was right, took me three tries to fix it but now it makes killer dough.

And that's the thing about people ditching stuff too quick. They see one little problem and figure the whole thing is junk, when 90% of the time it's a five minute fix. I see this all the time with tools and appliances. A little patience and a YouTube video can save you a ton of cash, plus you get the satisfaction of not being a quitter.
