Almost got flattened by a bus on Broadway last Tuesday

Some guy in a delivery van decided the bike lane was his personal parking spot and I had to swerve into traffic at exactly 8:15 AM. The bus driver honked at me like I was the idiot. Anyone else have a spot where drivers just totally ignore the bike lane?

You ever notice how bike lanes just disappear right where you need them most? That stretch on Broadway between 7th and 9th is a total gamble. Drivers treat it like a loading zone and we get to play frogger.

That gap on Broadway between 7th and 9th is where my morning commute turns into chaos every single time, @morganhayes. I counted five delivery vans parked in the bike lane there last Tuesday alone. Drivers don't even look before opening their doors either, I had to swerve into traffic last week to avoid getting doored. City really needs to put in some permanent bollards or something, not just paint.
