Can we talk about how I carried my work clothes in a backpack for 2 years before I finally left a week's worth at the office
For two years I stuffed my khakis and a button up into a backpack every single morning, and by the time I got to the office in Denver they were a wrinkled mess. I would hang them in the bathroom with the shower running hot for 10 minutes just to steam out the creases, which is a dumb way to start a workday. Then last spring my desk neighbor said she just keeps 5 outfits in a drawer under her desk and swaps them out on Fridays. I felt like an idiot for not thinking of it sooner. Now I ride in with just a small frame bag holding my lunch, a towel, and deodorant, and I rotate the office clothes once a week. My back hurts less, my shirts actually look decent, and I save about 15 minutes every morning that used to go to packing. The only problem is I need a better way to deal with sweaty stuff in the summer. Does anyone have a setup that keeps damp clothes from stinking up a desk drawer by Thursday?
