I finally figured out why my front tire kept going flat every 3 days
I spent 2 months patching tubes and checking for thorns before realizing the rim tape had shifted just a hair (like 1/8 of an inch) over a spoke hole. It was a tiny edge that rubbed the tube only when I hit bumps, so it looked fine on the stand. How long did it take you to find a bike problem that should have been obvious in 10 minutes?

Actually that's not exactly how rim tape works, the edge shouldn't rub the tube because the tape sits flush with the rim bed. Might have been a small burr or sharp edge on the spoke nipple instead.
