Rant: People who don't signal at roundabouts on their bikes

Honestly, I nearly got taken out twice this morning on my commute through downtown Seattle. It's not even that hard to stick your arm out. I see drivers already annoyed at cyclists and when you don't signal, you just make it worse for everyone. How hard is it to point which way you're going before you cross? Has anyone else nearly gotten smoked because someone just swerved without warning?

Preaching to the choir here. It drives me nuts when cyclists just drift across lanes with zero warning, especially in busy downtown traffic. Drivers are already looking for excuses to blame us, and not signaling just fuels that fire. Takes two seconds to point where you're going, it's not complicated. Respect goes both ways on the road.

Yeah, my friend got clipped doing exactly that. Cheap lesson at least.
